Minister - Above Bar Church
Above Bar Church is a vibrant evangelical church in the centre of the city. We are seeking to appoint a minister to join our ministry team and be part of the leadership team of Above Bar Church.
Alongside our central commitment to bible teaching and corporate worship we have a vision to be agents of God’s blessing across our city, in the wider church, and across the world.
The primary responsibility of this post holder will be to develop a joined up approach to discipleship across the ages. The post holder will have a significant role in our ministry to families and be a member both of the pastoral care team and the prayer team. Preaching is not a major component of this role but the candidate will need to demonstrate a strong biblical understanding and their ability to teach.
The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in working with people whether in a church-based role, teaching, counselling or a caring profession. However, it is not essential to have had previous experience of employment in a church. We expect this will be a full-time role, but depending on age and experience we are open to considering part-time.
If you would be interested in finding out more detail please in the first instance submit your CV outlining you skills, experience and qualifications to Hannah Chanter, our Church Secretary. Likewise if you would like an informal chat regarding this post then also contact Hannah who will arrange this for you. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
