Real Lives: ways to help

Real Lives is less than one week away!

When I first heard about Real Lives years ago I was excited. Having now spoken to several of the guests who will be interviewed over the week and hearing how God is working in them and how thrilled they are to come and share their story, I am even more excited!

Please do be praying and inviting your friends. Take that step in faith. If they don’t come, they don’t come. But if you don’t invite them, they are very unlikely to come. With a past Real Lives event, a member of the church only found out their colleague had actually come a day or so after!

Another way you can be involved is in helping out on the evening. If you don’t have a guest coming with you one evening, why not come to help make each evening as smooth and welcoming as possible?

Real Lives - refreshmentsHere are ways we need help:

  • refreshments / welcoming: can you hand a person a drink while smiling? Then you are qualified.
  • duty managing: if you are a duty manager on a Sunday and are happy to take an evening, this would really help!
  • daytime flyering / evangelism: Luke Hammond is kindly organising this for us and gathering a team, so if you would like to be involved in this please let him know.

God is doing exciting things in and through Above Bar Church. I am eager to see how he uses Real Lives and all the prayer, courage and hard work that you and so many others have and will put into it!
