Our Chandlers Ford cluster group links with people in the neighbourhood to share in our friendships with each other and with God as His disciples.

What we enjoy

We enjoy friendship and fun, living out the love of Jesus by serving our community. We make opportunities to get to know each other by having meals together, walks in the New Forest or interest walks in our locality. This can be craft sessions, cookery or flower demonstrations, as well as practical things, like being a support to new mums, or during illness, by doing shopping and ironing. We welcome new people into the area by giving them a helping hand! Coffee mornings are arranged, meals provided, helpful advice given and baby sitting provided. We aim to have fun times together and be there for each other, in both the good and the difficult times.

By the Holy Spirit’s power, we try to introduce people to Jesus. We arrange for topical discussions as a prelude to Alpha courses, pray for the local needs, and are actively involved in the prayer rota for Street Pastors. We also hold regular relevant Bible studies and times of prayer, with occasional Communion services in local homes.
