Politics affects us all. From the local counsellors who make decisions about how the city is run, to the national government, making choices which affect millions of lives.
In the New Testament, Paul urges us to respect the government which God has put over us (Romans 13:1–5) and to pray for those in authority (1 Timothy 2:1–4).
Our politics group equips Christians to effectively pray into political situations and lobby their elected representative on a wide range of matters of concern to Christians locally, nationally and worldwide.
Contact Andy through the church office to find out how to join the politics group, and look out for things to pray for in your newspaper or on a news website.
