Making and maturing disciples of Jesus Christ

Sunday services

Sunday service singing Sunday service singing

We have three gatherings on a Sunday in our church building, and we’d love to welcome you.

What to expect

All our services include teaching from the Bible, prayer and singing. It’s where we come together to worship God and experience church family.

9.15am: during this service there are groups for children and teenagers, as well as a crèche for babies and toddlers. Just after this service, refreshments are served in the lounge and top hall. (This service is usually finished by 10.30am.)

11.00am: this has the same sermon and theme as the first service, but is more reflective and structured in style. (This service is usually finished by 12.15pm.)

During the Christmas, Easter and summer holidays we often just have one morning service, at 10am. Check the calendar to see when that’s coming up.

6.30pm: this service has a different sermon series. (This service is usually finished by 7.50pm.) Sometimes this service includes an extended time of prayer and praise, finishing at 8.15pm. Or look out for Café Church every few months.

What also happens

Believer’s baptism

We believe the Bible teaches that baptism is for those who are already believers and we encourage people in the church to prayerfully consider making this public declaration of their faith. Baptisms take place in our baptistry pool at the front of the auditorium.

Communion

We celebrate communion during the evening service on the first Sunday of the month, and in the morning services on the third Sunday of the month. (Or check the calendar.) We invite all who know Jesus as Saviour and Lord to receive bread and wine with us, whatever their denominational background. You will be served the bread and wine at your seat.

Dedications

We believe it is important for our children to grow up experiencing the love of Christian parents and the support of the wider church family. Parents are invited to take the important step of dedicating their children to God by making promises before God and the church family. Dedications usually happen during the 9.15am service.
