Hope is here

Hope is here - flyer, front

This Easter, Above Bar Church is celebrating Hope.

Come and join us, because hope is here!

A hope more personal than an academic philosophy.

A hope more reliable than rule-based religion.

A hope freely given to everyone who accepts it.

A hope – who is a person.

Easter Appeal 2018

This Easter we will be focusing on the persecuted church for our Easter Appeal.

100% of the money raised will go to Open Doors, which exists “to strengthen the church to be the church in the most hostile places”.

The money raised this year will go to help believers across the world who live in countries where Christians face severe persecution.

How to give

  • Using online banking: account name “Above Bar Church”, account number 00340448, sort code 55-81-26.
  • Fill in an envelope and bring it to church on a Sunday.
  • Put money in the buckets on Easter Sunday.
  • Give online via our MyDonate page.

100% of the money raised will go to our nominated charity. It is possible to add Gift Aid to your donation, which ever way you give. If you are eligible to add Gift Aid to your donation, please consider doing so. (It allows us to claim an additional 25% of your donation from the Government.) To add Gift Aid to your donation through online banking, please download, complete a Gift Aid form and return it to church office.

Thank you so much for giving generously this Easter. Your gift will make a real difference.
