Jesus said “...apart from me you can do nothing”. Are we really God-dependent or do we sometimes plod on and think we can get along fairly well without the help and power of the Holy Spirit? Our week of prayer is an opportunity to express our dependence on God and seek his help for the coming year. There are opportunities to join together in prayer within home groups and missional communities around the city.

“I’ve really appreciated extra time to pray today. I’m excited about this week and will wait to see how God works in response to our prayers. Prayer is a great privilege, a huge encouragement and a massive challenge!”
