Teams

One of the best ways to feel at home at Above Bar Church and meet others is to serve on a team. It takes an army of volunteers behind the scenes to run a church community and to help others find their way back to God - and we’d love for you to join us in our mission.

If you are ready to get started, take a look at the areas below and send us an email to start the conversation. Most groups encourage you to come along and shadow a team member before you commit so there’s no pressure to find a perfect fit first time.

  • First Impressions

    Be the friendly and welcoming face of the Above Bar Church community. First Impressions volunteers make a real difference as they welcome and host the church family at Sunday services. Join this team to create loving environments that help people experience God.

  • Worship

    Join our worship community. Our community is made up of individuals who love music, love to serve and love to worship. As a team we meet regularly for team gatherings, workshops, songwriting and socials. We are always looking for people to play a part in leading the church in worship!

    The Children’ Ministry is made up of GSMA (our Sunday groups), WOW (midweek group) and Families Together (toddler group). To find out what it looks like to serve on any of these teams, fill in the form!

    We have so many international here at Above Bar Church. Why not help at English Language Cafe, helping people to learn English. Or join the Global Gathering team as we serve the International community through food and a Bible study.
