What do we offer?
We offer two main groups which are available to anyone experiencing homelessness, hard times and need support: Big Breakfast and Big Breakfast CENTRAL Cafe.
We’re here to support people who call Southampton home through food, friendship and community.
We provide a safe, inclusive and non-judgemental environment where everyone feels seen and valued. By showing up consistently for one another, we are building a strong community rooted in trust and genuine friendships.

Who are these sessions for?
Loneliness and isolation are common challenges in today's world. Our atmosphere is always friendly, fun, and encouraging, reflecting our core belief that every person is created in God's image and is worthy of unconditional love.
We see many individuals in vulnerable or uncertain circumstances or those who are experiencing homelessness or are going through a particularly tough time.
Many of our guests come to us as they might not otherwise engage with traditional services in the city.
We know that there are many people in Southampton who find themselves in difficult situations without anywhere to live and do not know where to turn - we are here for them.
Big Breakfast
Thursdays @ 10am
The Big Breakfast was co-founded nearly 20 years ago by Dr Sanjay Mall and three fellow volunteers, born out of a shared desire to serve and support those experiencing homelessness in Southampton. What began as a small gathering for just two guests has grown into a well-loved ministry, now welcoming and serving approximately 60 - 80 guests each week.

Community and Friendship
A supportive and safe environment.
Encouraging Message
A short talk sharing hope and the Christian faith.
Essential Food Items
Small amounts of bread, cakes, biscuits and vegetables may be available to take away.
Our aims are to provide guests with a supportive and safe space with free good food, community and a brief encouraging message by one of our speakers about our Christian faith. There is also the opportunity to take away small amounts of essential food items such as bread, cakes, biscuits and vegetables. Sanjay and Sue continue to lead and inspire this vital and thriving ministry, and the fantastic team of volunteers continues to grow.
