Poul and Carol Joenson

Poul is from the Faroe Islands and Carol is British.  

Poul & Carol worked with New Tribes Mission and lived in Papua New Guinea for 17 years doing church planting and Bible translation among the Sorimi people.

Since 2013 they have lived back in UK, continuing to translate the Sorimi New Testament and take yearly trips to further equip the 3 Sorimi churches. They also work at the mission college with the training of new missionaries.

  • Editing of the completed translation of the Sorimi New Testament which is nearing completion
